How did the collaboration between you and your musical partner Jephté Guillaume come about?
WW: "Jephté came to one of my performances in New York. Before that, I’ve already heard of him through recording sessions with the drummer of the Fugees.
When we finally met in person, we just knew that we had to work together."
"Blue and Deep" combines classical singing, jazz, dance electronic as well as haitian and latin rhythms...what exactly is so appealing to you in this combination?
WW: "I always want to give the audience a true experience - beyond all musical boundaries and drawers. It makes me very happy to see a DJ sitting next to a typical classical audience member in my concerts."
